Meet Dr. Fain, Dentist in Gastonia

Dr. Leighton Fain is Texas born and Kansas raised. In 2010 she received her BA in Zoology from Miami University in Ohio and then moved on to receive her DMD from the University of Kentucky in 2014.

After dental school, Dr. Fain moved to Charlotte, NC and completed a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium), where she focused on the treatment of medically compromised and head/neck cancer patients. She began working with Drs. Michael and Scott Clinard in July 2015.

Dr. Fain enjoys the interdisciplinary aspects of dentistry and getting to work with multiple specialists. She keeps up-to-date in the constantly changing world of dentistry by participating in monthly Spear study clubs with comprehensive workshops and seminars.

In her free time Dr. Fain enjoys baking, trying new restaurants with friends, and defending Kentucky basketball.
